Funds can only leave to a destination you’ve whitelisted. You manage recipients in the dashboard — keeping payout approval separate from your application code. This is the control that lets you safely move the stablecoins you receive out to destinations you trust.

Add a recipient

1

Open Whitelisted Accounts

In the dashboard, go to Whitelisted Accounts and click Add account.
2

Choose a type

Pick Crypto address to pay out on-chain, or Bank account for fiat payouts.
3

Enter the details

For a crypto address, provide a label, the wallet address, the asset (USDC/USDT), and the chain. For a bank account, provide the account details and currency (e.g. NGN, GHS, USD).
4

Save and wait for approval

The recipient is created as Pending while it’s reviewed, then becomes Active. You can only pay out to Active recipients.

Statuses

Destination coordinates (address, account number) are immutable once created — you can rename the label, but to change where funds go, add a new recipient.

Use it in a transfer

Each recipient has an id (for example 3bf24579-a35a-4ba9-a936-5df9c1d809f9). You reference it as the recipient_id when you quote a transfer.
Double-check the destination before approving. On-chain transfers are irreversible, and whitelisting is the last human checkpoint before funds can move.
